How to Apply for PAN Card 2.0 Online

Check the name of the entity to which your PAN was issued before applying. This is located on the back of your current card. Now, once you know if it is NSDL or UTIITSL, the steps are as follows:

If Your PAN Was Issued by NSDL:

• Visit the official NSDL e-PAN portal.
• Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar (if applicable), and date of birth.
• Complete OTP verification using your registered mobile or email.
• If your card was issued within the last 30 days, the first three e-PAN downloads are free. After that, a ₹8.26 fee applies.
• Once verified, your e-PAN will be sent to your email within 30 minutes.

If Your PAN Was Issued by UTIITSL:

• Go to the UTIITSL e-PAN portal.
• Input your PAN number and birth date, and solve the captcha.
• Update your email if it’s not already registered.
• Similar to NSDL, the e-PAN is free within 30 days and costs ₹8.26 afterward.
• After successful submission, the e-PAN arrives in your inbox as a PDF document.
